Sentinelles proposes to rehabilitate the remains of the Genoese Towers in Corsica. Transformed into temporary refuges, they will host scientific and academic missions commissioned by the Stareso oceanographic base. One of the resort's objectives is the preservation of ecosystems and, in particular, Posidonia grasses. The project makes it possible to expand the scope of the field research by transforming existing ruins into refuges as close as possible to the sites being studied. Drawing inspiration from shipbuilding, these lightweight structures blend seamlessly into the environment without disrupting the existing architecture or the natural landscape. Equipped with energy autonomy and incorporating a living area and a laboratory, they offer two researchers a unique connection to the site.
