The "pop-up" phenomenon surges on, illustrating how the ephemeral has established itself at event scale in architecture and design. Created for single use, these spaces emerge as swiftly as they vanish.
How can we redesign this temporary dimension in order to include them in a sustainable life cycle?
This project offers a kit for designing micro-architectures by harnessing the properties of inflatable materials through an assembly of modules and connectors. This system offers multiple, reusable and customisable solutions to meet the different needs of an event, both as a communication tool and as an artistic experiment. It explores a new typology of event structures in which air animates the space.
