Terra Mare

This third place transforms this ancient battlement while preserving its symbolic role as a protector. The building will become an area for sharing, learning and awareness. Resident designers will have their own spaces, and visitors will be able to discover and learn.

Toulon has been part of a maritime network creating dialogue between different cultures since ancient times. The Mediterranean, this "sea between lands", is the enduring link between civilisations.

This project aims to capture the essence of this geographical region. The idea is to celebrate and pay tribute to the Mediterranean through the two elements that define it: the Earth (the heritage of expertise) and the Sea (the living space, the meeting point for civilisations).
