Synapse, a creative incubator nestled in the heart of Toulon in the former Truguet military barracks, takes inspiration from living systems to stimulate creative impetus. This concept promotes meetings between designers, craftsmen and enthusiasts, each specialising while benefiting from an interdisciplinary collaborative environment. Organised into functional "organs", Synapse includes a research centre providing educational resources, shared workshops equipped for prototyping, as well as a coworking café providing an exchange and exhibition space. This structure encourages interactions between users, Toulon residents and the region, highlighting local craft techniques while positioning the city as a hub for innovation.
