The aim of this project is to define the environment of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and understand what the institution and its collections represent. We want to explain how the site is organised and differentiate it from the Louvre Museum. Based on the logo designed by BETC, we have designed an overarching scenography and unifying visual identity. This new house style has identified intentions, acting like a main thread and narrative that starts from outside the museum and flows through the spaces. It will create distinct journeys: Fashion, Graphic Arts and Design. Visitors will get to discover exhibitions infused in this new atmosphere. The MAD experience will thus be guided by colour.
