Initially attracted by the theatrical possibility of bringing the Little Prince's universe to life, I was quickly confronted with external realities that I had previously ignored. Faced with a paradigm shift, I considered abandoning the project to adapt the Little Prince for the theatre. However, this challenge prompted me to question the very nature of this adaptation: is it really essential to use actors to bring the poetic universe of Saint-Exupéry to the stage? I then embarked on a deeper reflection on how to preserve the essence of this masterpiece while exploring the limits of theatrical representation, using objects in the same manner as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's watercolours, which go beyond their illustrative role.
