These are not just day-to-day objects. We might complain about them, avoid them, hold our nose.However, when analysed through the prism of gender, this simple object is both the result and the vector of a male/female concept, inherited from age-old beliefs. How do public spaces convey gender stereotypes? How do these gender stereotypes influence them in turn?Here, I explore the values conveyed by public spaces through the example of urinals. The most banal and trivial objects say a great deal about our view of the world.
